Alhalanem is a Yuke, a species that shows up in some final fantasy games, characterized by their form-obscuring armour, magical prowess, and ageless wisdom. Alhanalem (al-han-ahl-em) in particular was once an instructor of magical arts in service to a mighty king, but those days are long since past him, and Alhanalem spends most of his days studying the arts of magic and assisting in the raising of the twin children of his dear friend Latov. Al is easily flustered, a bit of an eccentric, and he has a habit of ending his sentences with 'al' or 'le' sounds, for reasons unknown. CRYSTAL MAGIC Alhanalem is a talented sorcerer through the use of a magic crystal, boasting some competency in everything from fire magic to making the unseen visible to healing broken noses, though he is quick to heal and slow to fireball in most cases.

ARCANE CRAFTING Alhanalem has shown a talent for crafting magic items out of crystals, or otherwise infusing items with magical power- such as his staff.

EGG-HEADED-NESS Alhanalem was a teacher in service to the King, and as a result he tends to know a lot about a lot of things. Just don't ask him to lift heavy objects.
